Deck Strategy

Early game blitz push with intent to break 2-3 provinces turn 1. Most bodies disposable and try to extract as much as possible from them within a single turn.



Mulligan

You want 3-4 units cost 0-2 on turn 1 (you can include in here conflict characters) and either or a 4/5 cost high stat target. So mulligan . Mulligan if you don't have first turn initiative else keep. Mulligan and conditionally depending on opponent clan (some clans have early game character removal or cloud potential so you want to avoid investing too much into something that will be managed on the crucial first turn).

Dynasty and Fate on Units

0 fate on most. Not buying anything 4 cost or higher except for and that gets at least 2 fate. Two fate on . One fate on . Also 1 fate on any target. Note that not fating can draw the Water Ring on attack which can be highly disruptive to plans and for being aggressive with . makes a bad fate target. She is a horrible character at the start of the next turn, is a huge Water Ring draw, she cannot be readied through or , and makes a juicy target with attached. If round starts unfavorably consider passing, banking the fate, and then hitting next round. Good to maintain that pool of fate so you can after your first is cancelled.

Bidding

Basically bid 5 and use to prevent dishonor.

Rings

Water Ring on second attack to enable and (especially if playing that turn and they are in the discard) and also to ready your unit that was used during the first attack. That said, your opponent will almost certainly attack you first attack with Water ring so weigh that in your decision making. Otherwise Earth Ring is go-to for card advantage unless board dictates otherwise. Void Ring isn't so great because you're trying to close game quickly and by choosing Void Ring you're removing a ring that you're opponent probably won't choose. Void Ring can be saved for your third attack. Air and Fire are okay if they have fate on them but are conditional.

Conflict Declare

There is no set strategy here regarding order of declare. Typically it is best to scout with political to avoid the province reveal disruption. If you have you can wait and declare political as your third conflict.

Provinces

is your stronghold province. This is largely the only province you will be defending and this helps shut off ring effects when you are battling late game for win. Possibly defend early game depending on clan you are facing. If Crane, let it die and beware of .

Nice deck. Aren't you tempted to remove the Initiates, and add ATW to improve your matchup vs Phoenix?
I haven't played this deck in a month or so but removing initiates would be a reasonable move when expecting a lot of Phoenix. However, I'm more likely to change to a different ally in that case as initiate is an important component of the deck and I would want to find a conflict char to replace the power that they give.
