Update v2.4.2 - as of 09/30/2020
-3 Lost Papers (due to ban)
+3 Hidden Mountain Pass

Update v2.4 - as of 09/10/2020
+3 Open Papers
+3 Togashi Yokuni
+1 A Season of War
-3 Hidden Mountain Pass
-3 Agasha Sumiko
-1 Hantei XVIII

+3 Court Games
+2 Common Cause
-3 Pragmatism
-1 Ancestral Daisho
-1 Indomitable Will

Common Cause - Card works wonders with Adopted Kin and dying personalities. I like it's capability to return Elegant Tessen's early with added straighten tech even for 3G+ peeps that is not a "master of Niten".

Togashi Yokuni - after several runs and with the addition of Common Cause, Court Games and the strong abilities from other personalities, he stands out as a strong mid game personality together with Niten Master to end the game soon.

===============================
The deck's goal is simple: use the same personalities over and over to maximize the use of its attachments. Make them resilient and always available to engage in every conflict. And if all else failed, have the means to start all over again with as little cost as possible. Not strong with political or burst stat boosts but the favor and more personalities always joining in the fray often helps.

Notable Cards:
Niten Master - the flag-bearer of the strategy, just by looking at him you will see what the deck is aiming for. And with the addition of rally cards and constant digging you have high chances of playing him early in-game.

Pathfinder's Blade - The main reason why I chose a Seeker role. I have less need for Mirumoto's Fury as I always block with biggies anyway and having a reliable way to counter pesky provinces like Upholding Authority, Public Forum, Sacred Sanctuary, Midnight Revels and many more is quite rare.

Elegant Tessen - this makes all cheap personalities act like the Niten Master. And since the deck has many ways to reuse it by putting it back to hand, getting it from the discard pile or just get more copies of it, its value is noticeable here.

Adopted Kin - The main reason why this deck chose a Fire Role. It's meant as a reset button for the attachments of dying personalities and safety attachment for my "Assassinate-able" Characters. This makes me confident to attach a lot of cards on any personality without the fear of losing steam when I lose them. My peeps often have a "Kin" by their side when life doesn't give them a "Reprieve" or "Fate".

All 2 cost personalities - these guys give extra actions for the deck especially when you have nothing but attachments on your hand. Agasha Swordsmith increases the availability of key attachments, Niten Adept can easily bow a naked personality and Stoic Rival is an easy to use dishonor tech.

Inventive Mirumoto - unassuming card at first but with the deck's tendency to always be in a conflict to get Water Ring even when defending and the ability to get attachments like Elegant Tessen and Reprieve from the discard pile. He becomes extremely resilient and reliable 1 drop.

FAQs often asked to me:
Q: Will I switch to the new stronghold, Iron Mountain Castle, in the future? - With the current deck list? No.. I need a stat boost more and I don't see a problem with Restricted cards and buying my attachments due Daimyo's Favor and the 0 cost Non-Restricted weapons around. I may it do to a heavy weapon version with crab clan Tetsubos if I will do the new stronghold but we'll see..

Q: How did I fare with this deck? - this have a 9-3 record in Jigoku often seeing it win against control decks as it can't always counter or negate a weapon or just raw stats over and over again. This fares well against tempo as it can keep with them and this has longer staying power than those deck. Sadly, this had difficulty against political and blitz swarm type of match-up.

Q: What's my last province? - Courteous Greeting. This province puts my straighten tech to overdrive as a bow tech since the situation often leading me to defend the last province requires so.

Tried this non courtier or monk deck and won.. did not like aspiring challenger in the deck better replace the card with another
Glad that you tried it out, Dragon Fighter! yes I am leaning towards using Lost Papers instead of Aspiring Challenger right now.. I see using Rally further filters up my key cards. Doesn't hurt that it gives extra bow tech in between as well
Solid deck! Have you tried agasha prodigy in this? You have a lot of attachments might as well get more ways to attach it for free right??
Thanks for the feedback Emperorgroove! I already tried Agasha Prodigy on this but the problem is the impact of the action flopping vs its benefit is just not worth it.. I experienced discarding a Let Go or Tattooed Wanderer with this. Also experience attaching a Tessen on a already straightened personality. Also experienced this giving an attachment to the enemy (my fault when I forgot that he saw the arrangement with his Compass). Best result is a free Pragmatism or +2 Weapon which is not often. I will try her again though if I opted for a big weapon build in the future.
Just wanna share updates with the deck.. Posted 6 games after posting the deck with a record of 5-1. Happy to say, not all games required Niten Master to be resilient at all.

Currently testing deck with 3 Lost Papers instead of Aspiring Challenger and because of Rally it actually did not affect my curve and buying habits bur even has some good triggers of its bow tech. With this, I will make the change official in the post soon. Still hesitant to count Agasha Sumiko out in favor of Yokuni as it made some showing in some of the recent games.
I've been looking to make a similar sort of deck with Master of many lifetimes to guarantee that the attachments come back -- have you considered adding him at all? He's coming out in the next pack
also, maybe a double post, but common cause could be cool since you could load up a small guy with tons of attachments and an adopted kin, sac, ready another character and get all the attachments back
Hi Litorers thanks for the feedback and sorry was busy for the past days.

Master of Many Lifetimes looks good but I would look at its viability still with further testing in the future.. the new monk sadly looks like a glorified Adopted Kin compared to Yokuni that I am now opting more as my 5 gold peep.. we'll see.. I mean he's strong but what should I give up in order to add him is another issue altogether

Common Cause to force Ancestral triggers and load another guy up? this suggestion looks promising! Will try it right away this weekend by removing pragmatism and replacing it with 2 common causes
Hi Litorers.. did run 4 games during the weekend with 1 loss and 3 wins.. Common Cause appeared several times in those games and I have to say that it is a viable tech to immediately get the Tessens and other attachments like Hawk Tattoo and Daimyo's favor placed on a personality.. It also freed me to place 3 more cards in the deck by the freed Pragmatism spot and removing 1 indomitable will and 1 Inscribed Tanto (still choosing on what to add for those 3 slots)..

Will now officially edit the deck after a final run before Friday Sept. 4
Hi there! Your deck was a great inspiration to me! I´m tryng to make a Dragon Duel/Atach and use a lot of cards of your deck, and i have to say, its working, maybe not the most strong deck but a very nice to play deck... Do you think that adopted kin is a indispensable card? I always find better cards to play im my hand, also adopted kin doesnt triger niten master...
Hi Tiamat! Glad that this deck inspired you to create your own version of it.. Oh yes this deck is not the best but sure is fun to play with.

Ok, about Adopted Kin, it is not indispensable but it is helpful on my strategy to never hesitate slapping attachments even on personalities that I didn't invest on fate. Furthermore, with new cards I am now using like Common Cause and Lost Papers (update on list soon) I incline more to "spread the attached love". Lastly, I noticed your deck may lean more on preserving your personalities instead to win duels and others so this card will be of less value for you.

Good luck on your games with your deck and thanks again for the comment!
Hi Guys! Sorry for the delay as was busy with work. Officially made changes with the deck list (now version 2.4) which reflected the additional 10 games I played to test the deck even further. Most changes were made to maximize the gold curve and to give strength to other cards other than Niten Master and the 2G+ personalities.
Hey saw your upgrade and tried it as well! yes common cause is great as you said, too bad we can't increase the number to 3 without losing the pathfinder blade or reprieve

I removed the aspiring challenger and a season of war in my deck and just kept the Hidden Mountain Pass and added 1 cycle of rebirth to remove pesky holdings and personalities before they buy it.. I believe getting a lot of Rally cards helps dig the key personalities instead.. might even use the new seeker only monk once I play him in Jigoku for even more rally
Hi Dragon Fighter! Yup also like having more Common Cause in the deck as well.. wanna thank Litorers for that suggestion by the way.. About Rally cards I saw their strength and might do your suggestion as well since I really opt to remove Aspiring Challenger anyway on my first testing runs.. not sure with Master of Many Lifetimes yet and what I will give up for him.. for Cycle of Rebirth I will try it but I often aim for first pass to get fate meaning the card wouldn't work for personalities without giving up the free fate.. will check nonetheless for the holding removal though

Again thanks for the feedback
Hey just saw you making changes on this deck since I last commented here.. nice you are updating this and I already am playing something similar to this with my friends.. I think I know how to add the new monk.. try removing 1 of each of your 3 cost personalities and that season of war.. I'm using it as proxy to try it and it is strong on my monk deck that has similar strategy to this
Hi Emperorgrove! Glad to see you commenting again and seeing how I helped you with your deck as well.. problem with the new monk is that he costs a lot to compete against other key personalities; will check him out for sure though.. might create a different deck for him with the arrival of more straighten tech like the Waterfall Tattoo
This deck looks great! Two questions: what's your bidding strategy in the draw phase? Also, what is the purpose of aspiring challenger? Dueling doesn't seem to be the theme of this deck.
Hi Mirumoto Psycho! Yes deck is quite viable but right now I am currently busy preventing me from further updating this.. For draw phase it's really not much planning needed you will often opt to bid for 5.. Tranquil Philosopher and honor tech help keep my honor safe from dipping too low suddenly

Aspiring challenger is just a good stated personality for his cost often becoming a base 3/3 for 2 fate.. in fact he is just there for his political stat and can be replaced by any other card.. he did oddly countered the occasional composure cards like Guardian of Virtue and some when high bid tech Scorpion cards in some games though

By the way because of the recent banning of the newly added Lost Paper will do an emergency tweaking soon
Hotfix done now v.2.4.2 due to Lost Papers being added to ban list. Replaced it with Hidden Mountain Pass for it's Rally keyword
